Instability in your emotions is something that shouldn't be neglected. It is somewhat a great issue within the struggling person and can actually become a personality disorder.

Being emotionally unstable can be a sign of having an anxiety disorder, depression or a childhood trauma. But these signs may vary since behavior is shown by the emotionally unstable person greatly affects himself and the people around him.

HERE ARE 3 SIGNS THAT YOU ARE EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE:

1. YOU HAVE ANGER ISSUES

Anger issues are one of the biggest hallmarks of an emotionally unstable person. Controlling how you express your anger is an issue and you are not able to control them in a very healthy manner. You might experience moods wherein you are totally in a good mood then snaps back to being furious all of a sudden. Although emotionally unstable persons have tendencies to happiness or sadness outbursts, their angriness can damage so much more.

You tend to scream and shout when extremely angry or even dive into violent actions. But these violent reactions don't always pertain to harming another individual but expressing it through inanimate objects such as pushing or breaking things or slamming doors.

2. YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE AN IMPULSIVE PERSON

Impulsiveness is when you do things or tend to do things suddenly and without careful thought. You simply and quickly act in an impulse and when you are emotionally unstable, you are prone to do this.

Doing things impulsively may not only harm yourself but also others. Your impulsive actions are much more likely to be geared towards danger and have very little self-control.

3. YOU TEND TO HAVE EXTREME

Emotionally unstable persons tend to have extreme reactions. You react differently from the reality of the situation. You perceive things differently and off. You overthink/overreacts in a negative way.

If you have observed these signs to someone dear to you or just someone you know. Help them overcome it and try to be more understanding.

4. ON AND OFF RELATIONSHIPS

Someone who is emotionally unstable will have a hard time keeping their relationships stable as well. They may volley between feeling very affectionately towards a person and then feeling bad about them as well. Not only that, but they have a hard time keeping a stable relationship.
