  The cosmetics industry produces billions in revenue each year and that's because of the different kinds of cosmetic product they produce. Sadly many people didn't know that there is harm with these cosmetic products because of the carcinogen chemicals it contains.

If you are not aware of what we are telling you, you can always see the labels for each cosmetic products that you can find in the commercial market today, each of them has a label that can identify what chemically is in them. The U.S. government has no laws mandating that all the cosmetic products should undergo a test to secure that all the products are safe to use its release in the commercial. Other huge cosmetic company doesn't even add their ingredients on the label of their products, and it's a tactic used to deceive consumers. One of the cosmetic items that are very alarming to use today is lipstick.

Certain brands of lipstick have been found out that have toxic levels of lead in them. So whenever you put lipstick on your lips your mostly ingesting dangerous levels of heavy metals like lead in your body. This chemical can also flow into your skin that can cause infections and allergies.

Harmful Chemicals that Cause Carcinogenic Lipstick

The Environment Defense Group did a research on 49 cosmetic products to test the levels of toxic metals on it and here are some of the tested products.
  • Five foundations 
  • Eight lipsticks or glosses 
  • Four powders 
  • Five blushes or bronzers 
  • 14 eye shadows 
  • Seven mascaras 
  • Two eyeliners 
  • Four concealers
The result reveals that all the cosmetic products that have been mentioned above have an excessive amount of heavy metals. Almost 96 percent were found to have a lead, 90 percent had beryllium, and 61 percent had thallium in them. They also added that 20 percent had arsenic while 51 percent had cadmium in them.

 
Harmful Metals Cause Carcinogenic Lipstick

Out of the eight metals tested, most of the tested products contained dangerous chemicals that have a high risk of health concern. The majority of the items that has been tested have arsenic, lead, mercury, and cadmium that are extremely dangerous toxins that can lead to deadly infections and diseases.

Many patients who had been diagnosed with breast cancer have been traces of cadmium in them. The Environmental Defense Group's reported that 51 percent of products that they tested were found to have cadmium and its well known as a carcinogen in the scientific community.

What is even scarier, is that there were no immediate signs of damaged in the body due to the dangerous chemicals found in all the products that have been tested.  It only makes the body more susceptible to serious infections and illness including cancer.
